Broccoli Raab

Broccoli raab is a hardy vegetable. Hardy plants can tolerate frosty weather of about 25° to 28° Fahrenheit and 4° to 2° Celsius.

Broccoli raab is also known as Broccoli Rabe and Rapini. Broccoli raab is the Italian version of broccoli. Grow broccoli raab the same way that you grow regular broccoli, which is grown in the cooler seasons. Broccoli raab produces loose flower heads instead of compact, formed bunches.

How to Store Broccoli Raab:
To store broccoli raab, place the broccoli raab in a plastic bag and store in the refrigerator for up to five days.

Broccoli Raab Nutrition:
Broccoli raab is fat free, cholesterol free, very low in sodium, an excellent source of Vitamin A and Vitamin C.
A serving size of broccoli raab is 2 cups chopped (80 grams). One serving of broccoli raab contains 25 calories.
